Community in Action

[written for our community newsletter, with Studio Satya]

In times of tragedy, it’s not always easy to know what to do, or what will make the most impact. Small acts with great intention undoubetdly make a big difference. This is what it is to come together in community to take action.

We don’t need to tell you this – it’s evident in the daily care we see and speak to often within the walls of our studio. Whether chanting  words of peace, or raising money for worth causes – every bit of energy directed toward the good matters.

While we have been unsure of the best way to help, we also recognize our role of service, especially in times of great collective need such as these. In honor of all those effected by the recent floods, we are donating all proceeds for our classes on Friday, July 12th toward Central Texas Flood Relief. In addition, we have a list of supplies that we will collect and distribute on Monday, July 14th.

Below is a list of needs. Attend class on Friday, or feel free to send additional donations either to our Community Fund (with a note it’s for flood relief) or, of course, directly to the organization of your choice.

We wish for safety, healing, and peace to be with each of you and all those who are suffering.
